I believe we bring our whole selves to everything we do (intentionally, or unwittingly). That includes our businesses. 

And if you’re familiar with my POV, you know I really care about how experiences feel.

Why is facilitation one of my favourite things, ever?

I’m a neurodivergent and biracial woman. These identities have shaped my values in some major ways:

✨ I love balance and try to avoid most extremes.

✨ I want people to see the humanity in everyone.

✨ I’m super sensitive to marginalization and false dichotomies.

✨ I want people to think expansively and embrace nuance.

✨ I think everyone can learn something from everyone else

These values are all expressed when facilitating workshops.

I love anything that creates a sense of belonging and builds collective wisdom.✊🏽❤️‍🔥

You and I may be a great fit if:

  • you value autonomy and don't want the people you support to become dependent on you
  • the traditional education system seems *less than ideal* 👀 to you
  • you read speculative fiction & dream of ways the world could be different (although I'm grateful to live in a world where N.K. Jemisin exists!)

In games (much like in life), I prefer working together to overcome obstacles, rather than competing. ⚡️ 

Anything word-based, sci-fi, or with a strong theme and storyline will likely steal my heart.

Mediocrity is just math, and I want you to be mentally prepared for it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ If you're a recovering straight-A student like me, and the thought of a B- gives you hives, your mind might have gone straight into strategizing. "What tips your workshop into excellence?" (I'd love your thoughts below. I'll go first.) 🌍 Having a clear dream for your workshop, aligned with YOUR goals, values, and quirks. 🌍 Designing your workshop with that dream (and your workshop guests!) in mind. 🌍 Doing that workshop with your full presence, and an openness to receiving feedback (from yourself and others). 🌍 Iterating over and over (and over!) to learn from, build on, and improve your experiences. And if you're copy-pasting what you saw someone else do? My guess is that'll tip you toward the left end of the scale. No shame if it is... We're all doing what we can with the resources we have. Mediocrity is just math, and I want you to be mentally prepared for it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ If you're a recovering straight-A student like me, and the thought of a B- gives you hives, your mind might have gone straight into strategizing. "What tips your workshop into excellence?" (I'd love your thoughts below. I'll go first.) 🌍 Having a clear dream for your workshop, aligned with YOUR goals, values, and quirks. 🌍 Designing your workshop with that dream (and your workshop guests!) in mind. 🌍 Doing that workshop with your full presence, and an openness to receiving feedback (from yourself and others). 🌍 Iterating over and over (and over!) to learn from, build on, and improve your experiences. (If you thought I'd give you some quick-fix, silver bullet... [please imagine my rendition of 'If I Were a Boy'] 🎶 You thought wroooooooooooong! 🎶 ) You might've heard me say this before: Dream - Design - Do - repeat. ✨ Mediocrity is math. ✨ Excellence takes iteration.
